RPA believes ANC attacks on Heritage and its leader Raffi Hovannisian unfair![]() April 9, 2011 - 15:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Through criticizing Heritage, Armenian National Congress (ANC) is attempting to create a more favorable atmosphere for its participation in the oncoming elections, according to a member of a ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). As Hakob Hakobyan noted, on the eve of 2012 parliamentary elections, every party is attempting to create more favorable conditions for itself. RPA parliamentary group member, Tachat Vardapetyan believes ANC attacks on Heritage and its leader Raffi Hovannisian unfair. Recently, increased tension has been observed in relations between ANC and Heritage. ANC blames Heritage for acting as an opposition to the Congress, rather than the authorities, while the Heritage accuses ANC of an attempt to monopolize oppositional field and avoid equal cooperation with other oppositional forces. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
