NKR FOREIGN MINISTRY SUBJECTED AZERBAIJAN TO SHARP CRITICISM

PanARMENIAN.Net - 23.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. "The statement of the Azeri Foreign Minister V. Guliyev, that the recognition of the Armenian genocide by French National Assembly will have a negative impact on the process of the Karabakh conflict settlement, confirms the unwillingness of the Azeri side for a constructive dialogue," Mediamax was informed in the press service of NKR Foreign Ministry.

The Foreign Ministry of Karabakh stressed that linking the decision of the French parliamentarians with the Karabakh issue settlement, as well as accusing France, as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, for pro-Armenian position, are groundless and may really injure the peace process.

"If one follows the logic of Guliyev and of several other Azeri politicians, asserting the partiality of France in the process of Karabakh conflict settlement and speaking for its dismissal from co-chairmanship in the Minsk Group, then Turkey should be excluded not only from the Minsk, but also from other regional processes in view of its open hostile position toward Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh", Mediamax was informed in the press service of NKR Foreign Ministry. --0--
