Armenian delegation to Euronest to actively cooperate with civil sectorMay 31, 2011 - 18:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the Armenian delegation to Euronest, chairman of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group Vahan Hovhannisyan said the delegation will actively cooperate with the Armenian civil society. The Armenian delegation to Euronest faces challenges related not only to regional problems, but also democracy, human rights and civil sector, Hovhannisyan told a meeting with representatives of Armenia’s civil society. Thus, the cooperation with the civil sector will be efficient in the process of Armenia’s integration into Europe, he said. “The time for statements about integration into Europe has ended; we need to take certain actions, so that the public sees progress,” concluded Hovhannisyan. Euronest is a parliamentary assembly of Eastern Partnership member states, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus.
