ANC ready to continue dialogue with authorities

PanARMENIAN.Net - Oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) plans to continue dialogue with country authorities and is ready for new meetings, it is said in the statement of ANC.

According to the Congress statement based on notice of coordinator of coalition parties’ delegation, David Harutyunyan, that the delegation represents executive power, Parliamentary majority and personally President Serzh Sargsyan, the Congress agrees to continue dialogue in this format. However ANC underlines that Congress-authorities meetings should be held on neutral territories.

“Meetings must be either translated in live broadcasting, or ANC must be provided at least half an hour of live show on Public television after each meeting, for presenting its viewpoint to the public,” the statement says.

Also, ANC demands to take off the ban for translating Congress-led rallies from Public and other television channels.

The first meeting between the coalition group and ANC was held on July 18 in the small conference hall of the Public Council.

The composition of ANC delegation to negotiate with the authorities included ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan, representative of the central bureau David Shahnazaryan, a member of ANC economic committee, the head of ANC structure in Malatya Vahagn Khachatryan, People’s Party of Armenia secretary Felix Khachatryan and deputy head of Armenian National Movement Samvel Abrahamyan

Coalitional working group formed to participate in coalition-opposition talks, included: David Harutyunyan (Republican Party of Armenia), Gagik Minasyan (Republican Party of Armenia), Naira Zohrabyan (Prosperous Armenia Party), Vardan Bostanjyan (Prosperous Armenia Party), Mher Shahgeldyan (Orinats Yerkir Party) and Khachik Harutyunyan (Orinats Yerkir Party).
