CHATBORN & PARK WILL NOT LOBBY INTERESTS OF AES SILK ROAD, ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN THINKS

As a result of competition the Chatborn & Park was selected as the international legal advisor to the Armenian government, Seyran Avagian, Armenian parliamentarian and member of the tender commission for privatization of the Armenian power distributive networks said in an interview to MEDIAMAX.

Mr. Avagian excluded any possible lobbing by the international legal advisor of the interest of US AES Silk Road company, which lays claims for buying the networks. According to Avagian, today there are few companies-advisors specializing in energy sector. "Actually all advisors have worked with each of companies which took part in our tender," Avagian informed. He clarified that during the selection of the international advisor Chatborn & Park has advanced grounded arguments and eliminated any doubts regarding the possible subjective approach by Chatboarn & Park.

Four companies take part in the privatization: the Spanish Union Fenosa, the US AES Silk Road, Swiss-Swedish ABB and French Electricite de France. --0--
