1.1% DEFLATION FIXED IN ARMENIA IN JULY

PanARMENIAN.Net - 16.08.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. In the period of July 1-21 deflation in the amount of 1.1% has been fixed in Armenia, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In June 0.3% deflation was fixed in the country. Proceeding from the economic indices for January-May 2000, the Central Bank of Armenia predicted an economic rise in the amount of 101.8% as compared with the same period in 1999.

The average daily receipts into the budget of Armenia made up 811 million drams in the period of July 14-26. This index transcends the indices for the same period in 1999 for 34%. -0-
