HEYDAR ALIYEV PERSONAL GUARD HEAD ARRESTED IN TURKEY

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Hurriet" and "Eni Musavat" Baku newspapers reported about the arrest of head of personal guard of Azeri president Heydar Aliyev Beylar Eyubov. As reported by "Regnum" agency, the other day he was arrested in Turkey as a result of a special operation of the Azeri Ministry of National Security. Opposition press calls B. Eyubov (ethnic Kurd) "sponsor of the Kurdish Working Party" (PKK). As reported by newspapers, he was arrested right after several PKK activists were arrested in Baku. Beylar Eyubov has been the head of Heydar Aliyev's personal guard for almost 10 years and is considered an influential person in Azerbaijan.
