PACE POSTPONED KARABAKH ISSUE DISCUSSIONJanuary 7, 2004 - 19:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh problem will not be discussed at the coming sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), leader of the PACE Azeri delegation Samed Seidov told journalists in Baku, "Trend" agency reported. In his words, this is due to the fact that PACE rapporteur on the Karabakh conflict Terry Davis will run for the Assembly secretary general. At that S. Seidov added that the discussion of the issue is not withdrawn from the PACE agenda and the problem will be considered in 2004 without fail.Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
