GEORGIA SECRETLY SOLD WEAPONS TO AZERBAIJAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgia sold 6 Su-25 pursuit planes to Azerbaijan in 2002. As reported by Azg newspaper according to a source in UN, at this Georgia presented to UN a report stating that during 1999-2002 Georgia did not export weapons of any kind. Azerbaijan in its turn produced a report, according to which it bought 108 antitank guns from Ukraine and one T-72 tank from Slovakia. "The fact proves that Azerbaijan has violated the limit fixed by the agreement on ordinary armament in Europe", the newspaper notes.
