Armenian youth combats bribery in universities

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Miasin" (meaning "together") Youth Movement has started its struggle against corruption in a very peculiar way. Within the framework of this movement, today in the morning more than ten pictures of University professors have been posted on the walls of some Higher Education Establishment buildings of Yerevan, on bus-stops, and some other public places. The pictures were grouped under the heading "Bribe-takers." Besides the pictures the posters also provided information on the activities of the professors about their "professional" career.



The participants of the Movement call for all students to join their struggle and help eradicate corruption and other such things at Universities.



Yerevan police officers started their own fight with the strugglers against corruption. They circled the bus-stops and the undergrounds at the Metro Station "Yeritasardakan" and started to remove the photos by thus "helping" to eradicate corruption.
