Armenia's premier called on ministers to participate in "Erebuni-Yerevan" festivalOctober 8, 2009 - 19:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan following the invitation of the Yerevan Mayor called on members of the government to take part in the forthcoming celebrations of Erebuni-Yerevan on October 11, dedicated to 2791 anniversary of Yerevan. Yerevan was establishment in 782 BC, when the ancient city of Erebuni was founded in Urartu by the king Argishti. Ruins of Erebuni are located at the Arin-Berd hill on the outskirts of Yerevan. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
