Allowable alcohol level for drivers suggested to reduce to 0.4 per mille in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The law permits 0.8 ppm of alcohol in the driver's body having 85 kg weight, Eduard Hovhannisyan ,  Chairman of Achilles organization told a press conference today. According to him it is necessary to lower the allowable amount of alcohol up to 0.4 ppm. He brought up an example of Russia, where an allowable level number is equal to 0.3ppm.



He also stressed that unlike many countries, in Armenia there is no technique for rapid determination of the degree of sobriety of the driver.
