Turkey's libraries in catastrophic state

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey's libraries are in catastrophic state, compared with public libraries in other countries. According to Zaman Turkish daily, the principal library of Yerevan has a store of 20 million books, while only 1,336,997 are kept at National Library of Turkey.



The number of universities in Turkey with a population of 70- million totals 100. Armenia, with a population of only 3 million has 50 universities.
