Apaga new NGO launches activities in Rostov-on-Don

PanARMENIAN.Net - New non-governmental organization, Apaga national-cultural autonomy launched its activities in July in Rostov-on-Don.

The newly-formed organization aims at preservation of Rostov-on-Don Armenian community’s cultural heritage, creating favorable conditions for its future development and strengthening ties with native land (Armenia and Artsakh).

The organization will promote age-long friendship between Armenian and Russian people, also contributing to improvement of spiritual and intellectual potential of Armenian youth.

Among main tasks of Apaga NGO are: support to projects on enhancing ties with Armenian Diaspora, as well as assistance to Armenian-language educational programs in Rostov-on-Don, miasin.ru reported.
