Karen Zadoyan: Armenian Cossacks are the reserve of Armenia’s armed forces

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ataman of the Armenian Union of Cossacks, general-lieutenant Karen Zadoyan said that the Cossacks are a brotherhood and they will support Armenian Cossacks if there is need in protecting interests of Armenian Cossacks, irrespective of the situation in the country – be it a martial law or peacetime posture.

Commenting on possible actions of the Union of Cossacks in case of resumption of hostilities in Karabakh, Zadoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that the Armenian Cossacks are the reserve of Armenia’s armed forces. “We are defenders of our Fatherland and will join the Armenian army to protect its interests when needed,” he said.
