  RA Ministry of Transport: resumption of traffic via Upper Lars checkpoint depends on weatherFebruary 2, 2011 - 18:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Spokesperson for the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication Susanna Tonoyan said that resumption of traffic via Upper Lars checkpoint, which was closed three days ago due to snowfall, will depend on weather conditions. Tonoyan told PanARMENIAN.Net that the checkpoint, through which basic transit cargo transportation is operated between Armenia and Russia, is closed for the period from November 1 to May 1. However, as a result of negotiations, it continued its activity this winter.
