CRRC Poll: Armenian society puts more trust in online media

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC) conducted a poll among 1400 households to reveal Armenian society’s attitude to media.

54% of those polled prefer e-media, characterizing as more reliable and unbiased.

According to CRRC Armenia director Heghine Manasyan, at present, online media sources are serious competitors to traditional ones.

65% of those polled trust social networks as information source, while 36% favor TV news.

January-February 2011 results were assessed.
