“Armenia has important objectives to fulfill with the EU in all possible sectors of comprehensive partnership,” Edward Nalbandian said.

Johannes Hahn said the issue varies from country to country, with some seeking cooperation and others interested in other formats of partnership.

According to Ambassador Traian Hristea, the parties have a political will to start talks for a new agreement.

Traian Hristea announced the official start of the Assistance to Armenia’s Democratic Governance 18-month project.

Serzh Sargsyan noted that strengthening ties with one partner must not lead to creation of separating lines with another.

“Yerevan supports development of military component of the Collective Security Treaty Organization,” Baghdasaryan said.
