“Armenia must engage in talks with a Turkish leadership which will be ready for normalization without preconditions,” he said.

“A new process is needed for the Armenian-Turkish normalization without any allusion for preconditions,” Stepan Safaryan said.

Turkish Prime Minister specifically stressed the role of Russia in negotiation process.

“U.S. and Europe work together on an extraordinarily wide range of issues, from Afghanistan to Iran to the tumultuous events in North Africa and the Middle East,” U.S. Assistant Secretary of State said.

The U.S. believes that the sides should continue with ratification of the protocols, Philip Gordon said.
