ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER SHOULD BE OPENED, US AMBASSADOR TO RA CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian-Turkish border should be opened, US Ambassador to Armenia John Evans stated at today's press conference. In his words, the US has been for a long time contributing to the normalization of relations between the two countries. We hold the opinion that the opening of the border, which is blocked by Turks, is beneficial not only for Armenia but for the eastern regions of Turkey as well, the diplomat noted adding that Washington's officials often discuss the issue with their Turkish colleagues.
