Baku: «Any Trip to Karabakh without Azeri Government Consent Illegal»

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Any state or foreign delegation should know, that any trip to Nagorno Karabakh, which is an integral part of Azerbaijan and is occupied by Armenians, without the country's government permission is illegal," Tair Tagizade, the head of the informational policy department under the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry, said when commenting on the latest visit of the Luxembourg parliamentary delegation to Nagorno Karabakh. According to him, by information available, the head of the delegation Frank Angel is not a member of the Luxembourg Parliament any more, but represents a private group. "However, it does not change the situation drastically. The Azerbaijani side will undertake certain steps in this respect. We will continue bilateral contacts with Luxembourg, In case it is confirmed it is a private group and not an official delegation, I do not see any need to put forward the note", the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry official said, Trend reports.
