Azeri People's Front Party Urges to Declare Iranian Ambassador Persona Non Grata

PanARMENIAN.Net - The members of the People's Front Party of Azerbaijan held a protest action in front of the Iranian Embassy in Baku. The action participants censured the undiplomatic statements by Iranian Ambassador Afshar Suleymani addressed to the II summit of the Azerbaijanis of the world and Azerbaijan on whole. Despite the demand of the police to abandon the territory the protesters read their resolution, which urges the restoration of the rights of Azeris residing in Iran to receive education in their native tongue, open schools and universities and develop national culture. However the Nariman district party chairman failed to hand the resolution to the Embassy officials, who refused to accept it, reported APA news agency.
