RA government to sell 10 percent of ArmenTel stock to VympelCom

PanARMENIAN.Net - During its regular sitting the Armenian government decided to sell it 10 percent share of ArmenTel stocks to VympelCom, the owner of the 90 percent package, reported the RA government's press office. The government intends to sell about 1,9 million stocks for a 1/9 of the sum VympelCom has purchased its 90 percent share from Greek OTE last November. The sum totaled 341,9 mln euros ($431 million). Besides, VympelCom assumed ArmenTel's obligations to the amount of 40 mln euros.
