Baku sent protest note to Russia over a report about Karabakh and Nakhichevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - April 24 Russia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vasiliy Istratov was summoned to the Azeri Foreign Ministry. According to Spokesman Khazar Ibrahim, Deputy FM Araz Azimov told the Ambassador that a report dedicated to Nagorno Karabakh shown by Vesti news program (Russia TV Channel) "wrongly interpreted historical belonging of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic to Azerbaijan."



"The report conflict's with Russia's official position," Azimov said. The Russian Ambassador was handed a note and he undertook to convey it to the Russian party, Day.az reports.
