Edict on emergency rule signed and can come into force any moment

PanARMENIAN.Net - The edict on introduction of emergency rule is signed and can be divulgated at any moment, Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian told a news conference in Yerevan.



"Presently, Robert Kocharian is consulting with defense and law enforcement agents. If the law-enforcement machinery and protesters fail to reach an agreement, the state of emergency will be imposed," he said adding that Levon Ter-Petrosyan's supporters started encroaching on private and state ownership, what is inadmissible.
