Dr. Albrecht is a Dental Surgeon with many years of community service. A Conservative, he was recently appointed Deputy Government Whip in the House of Commons. Previous Chairmen of the Canada-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group were Sarkis Assadourian MP, and Gary Goodyear MP."In my discussions with Dr. Albrecht, I have been impressed with how quickly he is familiarizing himself with the issues that are important to Armenians and to our community, and with his dedication to increase the ties between Canada and Armenia," said Taro Alepian, Chairman of the Congress of Canadian Armenians.
