Serzh Sargsyan: Politics and economy should strive for balance

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Yerevan hosted the opening of Armenian-Syrian Business Forum, attended by RA and Syrian Presidents, Serzh Sargsyan and Bashar Al-Asad.

"Politics and economy should strive for balance in bilateral relations between Armenia and Syria. To achieve this goal, intensification of economic relations between the states and political will is necessary," RA President noted.

He also expressed his regret that economic relations between the countries are not at the same level friendly relations are.

"RA and Syrian governments should form a contractual and legal field. An agreement on support of investments has already been signed, which is another step towards trade and economic relations' development," Serzh Sargsyan said.

RA President called on Armenian Community in Syria to use their business connections for the development of trade and economic relations between the countries and emphasized that every single project will be supported by both countries' presidents.
