Erdogan cancels visit to US

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has cancelled a visit to the United States scheduled for April 13 and 14.

“The Cabinet decided to send another government member to the US. No official visit was planned. We just received an invitation to an international summit in Washington. I can’t tell who will be representing Turkey at the event,” Hurriyet quoted Mr. Erdogan as saying.

After adoption of the Armenian Genocide resolution, H.Res.252, by the US House Foreign Affairs Committee, Ankara recalled its Ambassador to the US.
