CSTO suggests increasing terrorist organizations’ list from 32 to 40

PanARMENIAN.Net - At August 24 sitting, CSTO coordinated amendments to the list of terrorist and extremist organizations in CSTO member states in accordance with Security Council Secretaries Committee draft resolution. Terrorist organizations’ list is to be increased from 32 to 40.

Draft resolutions of CSTO authorized bodies on formation of collective reaction system in extraordinary situations, as well as its operation plan were also coordinated at the sitting. The plan aims at collective response of OSCE states to natural or anthropogenic disasters, where the injured party is unable to eliminate consequences without outside help.

Plenipotentiary representatives of CSTO member states participated at the sitting, headed by Russia’s representative, ambassador at large Igor Lyakin-Frolov, RIA Novosti reported.
