Kuwaiti parliament speaker invited to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 23, Armenia’s Ambassador to Kuwait Fadey Charchoghlyan met with speaker of the Kuwaiti parliament Mohammed Jassem Al-Kharafi to discuss opportunities for boosting inter-parliamentary relations between Armenia and Kuwait.

Regional developments were also in the focus of the meeting.

Mr. Al-Kharafi informed that formation of the Armenian-Kuwaiti parliamentary friendship group is underway.

Ambassador Charchoghlyan, for his part, conveyed invitation of RA National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to his Kuwaiti counterpart to visit Armenia, the RA MFA press service reported.
