Moscow law enforcers think militants from Northern Caucasus are involved in terrorist act at Domodedovo

PanARMENIAN.Net - Moscow law enforcers think that militants from Northern Caucasus are involved in the terrorist act at Domodedovo airport.

The law enforcers came to such conclusion based on the fact that the suicide bomber looks like a native of Northern Caucasus, Interfax reported.

It was reported earlier that 3 men are wanted by police for organizing a terrorist attack at Moscow's Domodedovo airport which has killed 31 and injured 130.

The blast occurred at about 04:30pm Moscow time (13:32 GMT) at the international arrivals gate.

A suicide bomber was reported to have detonated himself in the crowd at the arrival gate.

The explosion was estimated to be equal to 7kg of TNT.

A criminal case has been initiated. It was reported that the Russian Federal Security Service possessed information on the terrorist act preparation: on the night of January 24, the terrorist was hunted for in Zelenograd.

The case on the terrorist act is being investigated by the Main Investigations Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee. Eyewitnesses are asked to share information by the following phone number: 8-499-265-97-90.
