Baku: Sarkozy visit to South Caucasus will expedite Karabakh settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - French President Nicolas Sarkozy's visit to South Caucasus will speed up Karabakh settlement process, the official Baku believes.

As head of the public and political affairs department at the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov said, “with Sarkozy's visit to Azerbaijan and the entire region, France, as a part of the OSCE Minsk Group, will add its efforts to those of Russia in solving Nagorno Karabakh conflict.”

“I believe French President's visit and his views about a need to change the situation will contribute to peace in South Caucasus,” APA quoted Hasanov as saying.
