ARMENIA AND GREECE SIGNED MILITARY COOPERATION PROJECT FOR 2004

PanARMENIAN.Net - A project of military cooperation for 2004 has been signed between the Armenian and Greek foreign ministries in Yerevan. As deputy to the Armenian defense minister Artur Aghabekian informed, 16 joint measures will be held within the framework of the project next year. Specifically, three dozens of Armenian soldiers together with the Greek battalion will take part in the peacemaking operation in Kosovo. In Aghabekian's words, preliminary agreements on increasing the number of positions to be provided for Armenian officers in the Athens Military Academy as well as positions in the Military Medical Academy of Salonika for Armenian army doctors have been achieved.
