David Sahakyants added that a statuette will be created this year to award Robert Sahakyants prize. “We have already prepared the statuette. Its design is unique and includes the heritage of Robert Sahakyants. Unfortunately, we have established Robert Sahakyants prize in a week after his death. It will be awarded annually to a foreign animator,” said Director of ReAnimania festival Vrej Kassouny. Referring to the event in commemoration of Robert Sahakyants as part of the festival, Kassouny said that the festival organizers have done their best for its organization. “We are well aware of the fact that he did not like festivals, as he preferred to work rather than to speak,” noted Kassouny. The event in commemoration of Robert Sahakyants will be held on September 10. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
