"This is Poland's initiative, and a year ago we decided to hold the sitting in Yerevan, if a direct air communication is established between Yerevan and Warsaw," Galoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter at the airport of Warsaw during presentation of Armavia Air Company’s Yerevan-Warsaw-Yerevan direct flight According to the Ambassador, two packages drafted by the Polish and Armenian sides will be considered during the sitting. They cover the entire spectrum of cooperation, including establishment of joint enterprises as a part of Eastern Partnership. Amb. Galoyan said that that there are cooperation opportunities in metal and ore processing, agriculture, chemical industry and light industry. "Capital investments from Poland are of keen importance for Armenia. All these issues will be solved at the level of governments," he said. According to the RA National Statistical Service, Armenia's bilateral trade with Poland decreased by 6.3% in 2009 as compared with the 2008 index, amounting to $34.6mln.
