100 loans provided under Affordable Housing for Young Families programJuly 14, 2010 - 15:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian government hosted a meeting on Affordable Housing for Young Families program under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The program implementation and further steps were in the focus of the meeting, the government's press service reported. Around 100 loans at the amount of AMD 1bln have been provided, with 80% of them in Yerevan and 20% in Armenia's regions. Positively estimating the program implementation as a whole, Tigran Sargsyan pointed to the low index of loan usage in regions. He stressed the importance of equal development of the country's regions and instructed the RA Ministry of Finance to draft a project of amendments to the pilot program approved on January 29, 2010. Besides, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs to increase awareness of the program in regions.
