83 thousand passengers transported via SCR in July 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - 83 thousand passengers were transported via South Caucasus Railways in July 2010, with 72 thousand passengers provided transportation services inside the country, and 10,7 thousand transported abroad.

6% increase of local and 35% of international passenger inflow was reported compared with 2009, passenger transportation rate growing by 9,8 %.

The changes observed are due to reforms introduced, including modernization and purchase of railway equipment, transportation safety increase, revised tariff policy, SCR press service reported.
