Armenia, Belarus to boost humanitarian tiesSeptember 28, 2010 - 13:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Belarusian Minister of Trade Valentin Chekanov to discuss development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The parties attached importance to the activity of the Armenian-Belarusian intergovernmental commission and opening of the Armenian- Belarusian chamber of commerce, which will launch its activity on September 30, 2010. The Belarusian Minister briefed PM Sargsyan on the agreements reached during the 8th sitting of the Armenian- Belarusian intergovernmental commission, saying that cooperation outlooks in the fields of industry, agriculture, education, high technologies and tourism were discussed during it.
