Delegation led by RA Prime Minister to visit Yekaterinburg

PanARMENIAN.Net - A delegation of Armenia’s public, political and business circles will arrive in Yekaterinburg to participate in a sitting of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission on October 22. The Russian delegation will be led by Minister of Transport Igor Levitin, while the Armenian delegation – by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Nakanune.RU reported.

“Energy, metallurgy, transport equipment, as well as jewelry and pharmaceutical production will be in the focus of the sitting, as they are among those fields, in which the cooperation between Armenian companies and those of Sverdlovsk province and even of the entire Ural Federal District can bring mutual benefit and considerable competitive advantages,” said Chief of Staff of Sverdlovsk government Sergey Kozlov.

A special protocol and plan of events between the governments of Sverdlovsk region and Armenia are envisaged to be signed based on the results of the intergovernmental commission meeting.

Besides, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is expected to meet with the Armenian community of Yekaterinburg.
