Yerevan to host Armenia-Kazakhstan business forum in DecemberPanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia Ayimdos Bozzhigitov. The Minister briefed the Ambassador on infrastructure projects implemented in transportation sphere, including South-North railway project feasibility study and international contest for South North expressway construction. As the Ambassador noted, lack of transport passages between the countries hampers adequate product turnover. “Armenia-Kazakhstan business forum scheduled for December 2010 will focus on increase of product turnover between the two countries,” Mr. Bozzhigitov stated. The move follows a similar decision by Moody's, which downgraded the company in January by a notch from A1 to A2. Budapest was mandated to bring its deficit below EU-required level of 3 % of gross domestic product by this year. The market average rate of USD totaled AMD 389,26 on Feb 22, increasing by 0.09 point compared to Feb 21. In 2011 Armenian Development Bank increased portfolio by 60% to total AMD24 bln against 15 bln. at the beginning of the year. |
