Armenia, UAE to develop atomic power engineeringNovember 3, 2010 - 12:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian-Arab business forum offers a golden opportunity to expose the unused economic potential between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates, RA Prime Minister said. The event brought together 40 entrepreneurs showing interest in Armenia and examining possibilities to make investments. Tigran Sargsyan noted that IT, medicine, financial sector, tourism, building materials, agriculture and atomic power engineering are among priorities for bilateral cooperation. “We should make such business forum a tradition to have a possibility to discuss investment projects and further collaboration,” he said. For her part UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi said that turnover between the two countries totaled USD 70 million in 2009. “It’s time to strengthen our economic ties,” she said.
