Artak Shaboyan: Armenian cheese producers use dried milk and forbidden soda

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) Artak Shaboyan said that some Armenian cheese producers use dried milk for its production, while there is sign about it on none of cheese labels.

Besides, an expertise showed that soda is also used for cheese production, which is forbidden, according to relevant decision and established standards of the Armenian government, Shaboyan told journalists.

“The SCPEC will submit the results of the expertise to the RA Ministry of Agriculture for further studies and decisions,” Shaboyan said, but refrained from naming the company, which uses the forbidden product for cheese production.
