Mkrtich Minasyan: Armenia overcame financial crisis

PanARMENIAN.Net - Member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Mkrtich Minasyan said that political, social and economic life of the republic was active in 2010, the most important achievement being suppression of economic slump.

“We can say that Armenia overcame financial crisis,” he told a news conference on December 28.

Commenting on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, he stressed the significance of the Astana summit.

“It’s important that representatives of many countries emphasized that the principle of territorial integrity doesn’t dominate the right of nations to self-determination,” he said.

As to normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, Minasyan said that Armenia has clearly indicated that international recognition of the Armenian Genocide can be a tool of political gambling.
