Armenia to spend tens of billions of AMD to develop industry

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan said that there are 50 investments programs at the amount of tens of billions of AMD for industry development.

“These programs are in process of implementation and we work to finalize them within 1-1.5 years,” Davtyan said during a joint sitting of the Armenian Ministry of Economy and the Union of Armenian Manufacturers and Businessmen.

According to Davtyan, the government has defined 50 investment programs for industry development, in which cooperation of private capital with the state is required.

The Minister added that the government has provided privileges to some of these programs.

Davtyan noted that the programs are implemented in various fields of economy, with the majority of them being financed through internal investments.
