bmi announces Five Day Sale with flights at $43

PanARMENIAN.Net - British Midland International (bmi) announced a five-day flight sale inclusive of all economy fares on bmi routes originating from London's Heathrow airport, one of the world's leading international hub airports. bmi, Heathrow's second largest airline, launched the sale Feb. 25, 2011 with flights starting as low as 31 pounds (approximately $43).

Featured United Kingdom and Ireland destinations among the more than 30 global options include Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin and Manchester, PRNewswire reported.

From midnight on Feb. 25, 2011 travelers can take advantage of low rates available for purchase through 7 p.m., March 1, 2011. Flights are valid for travel March 1 through June 30, 2011. Routes applicable for this sale must originate from or terminate at London's Heathrow airport.

To celebrate and create social media buzz around the promotion, bmi is giving away 100 pairs of tickets to anywhere on the bmi network.

Customers in economy will enjoy bmi's full service benefits such as free checked baggage up to a total weight of 44 pounds, complimentary food service and full bar throughout the day.

bmi business class customers, Diamond Club gold and silver members can take advantage of the flagship international lounge, The Great British Lounge, at London's Heathrow Terminal One. Star Alliance gold members are also offered complimentary lounge access.
