119% increase recorded in Unibank credit portfolio in 3 years

PanARMENIAN.Net - The total credit portfolio of Unibank CJSC amounted to USD 212.6mln as of December 31, 2010, increasing by 119% over three years.

The growth was basically secured through considerable expansion of business lending. Specifically, loans provided to large businesses increased by 109%, to small and medium enterprises – by 131% in 2008-2010.

According to the bank press service, Unibank attaches importance to development of risk management in compliance with international standards.

Due to efficient control, the bank has managed to secure a high-level quality of assets: the quality coefficient of credit investments, which characterizes the share of overdue loans in the portfolio, made 0.01% (the ideal coefficient is 0%) in Unibank by the end of 2010.
