6% growth recorded in Armenia’s brandy production in Jan-Apr 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - 4,311.3thous. liters of brandy were produced in Armenia in January-April 2011, what is 6% more compared to the same period in 2010.

According to the RA National Statistical Service, production of vodka dropped by 33.5% to total 1,443.6thous. liters during the reported period.

1,367.7thous. liters of wine were produced in January-April 2011 against 1,427.3thous. liters in 2010 (4.2% drop). 2,809.2thous. liters of beer were produced in January-April 2011 against 2,124.4thous. liters during the same period in 2010 (13.9% drop). 10.1% drop was recorded in sparkling wine production to reach 55.9thous. liters in 2011.

Soft drinks production dropped by 8.6% e in 2011 to total 9,724.1thous. liters in 2011.
