RAO Mars CJSC may become free economic zone in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - RAO Mars CJSC may become the most advanced free economic zone (FEZ) in Armenia, with organizations’ infrastructure meeting all modern production demands, according to Armenian Economy Minister.

As Tigran Davtyan stressed during his visit to the factory, investments to enable creation of free economic zone in Armenia are estimated at millions of dollars.

“Companies, operating within FEC framework, will be provided with special advantages, including facilitation of customs and tax regimes. Export-oriented production will be organized,” he noted.

The Minister emphasized the importance of laying legislative ground for FEC formation. “The government has already approved the FEZ formation project to be discussed at parliamentary session in spring,” the Minister noted, stressing the interest of foreign companies to FEZ in Armenia.

The RAO Mars CJSC specializes in design, development and production of high voltage power facilities and systems for power transmission and distribution.
