Armenian Defense Ministry presents updated websiteFebruary 25, 2011 - 15:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 25, Armenian Defense Ministry hosted a presentation of the updated ministry website (www.mil.am). “We aimed to improve the quality of information provided through the use of updated technical means and alteration of website style,” Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said. As he noted, the results of recent research covering the websites of official institutions of Armenia were taken into account in implementation of updates. “The Defense Ministry website is now built in accordance with recent international standards,” he stressed. “The updated website aims to provide exhaustive information on defense sphere of Armenia, also strengthening army-society ties through interactive means. In future, we plan to find new means to increase public awareness of defense sphere through social networks,” Ohanyan concluded. The website creation group representative, Hayk Haryutyunyan, in turn, stated that the website design is more accessible now. The 5 sections of the website will include official information and data on military–scientific and military-educational institutions.
