International air travel soars 9.3% in Feb

PanARMENIAN.Net - International air passenger traffic rose 9.3 percent in February compared to the same month in 2011, while international freight traffic grew by 5.1 percent, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) said on Tuesday, April 3.

But IATA said several factors had inflated the February figures and warned that the outlook remained fragile, with weak economic conditions and rising fuel costs, Reuters reported.
